Here are the five reasons why the TECNO SPARK 30 is a great buy, and the not-so-great ones.
Reimagined and reignited, the TECNO SPARK 30 Series features an all-new design merged with specs typically found on mid-range models. But is it a solid choice for the 7K SRP?
The base TECNO SPARK 30 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 processor, making it a 4G smartphone. However, it sports a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with 1080p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. That visual quality is paired with stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Dolby Atmos for maximum entertainment.
For photography, the 64MP Sony IMX682 leads the camera system and is combined with a quad-LED flash for clear images and recordings. The selfie camera is just a 13MP sensor though.
Multitasking and file storage are decent, thanks to the 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM, expandable by up to 1TB. The handset is likely to last an entire day with the 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging.
Reasons Why It’s a Great Buy
- Five-year performance fluency.
- Battery health of more than 1,000 charge cycles.
- Dual-LED flash for the selfie camera.
- IP64 dust and splash resistance.
- Bumblebee Edition (TRANSFORMERS).
Not-So-Great Reasons
- Entry-level processor with 277,736 AnTuTu points.
- Mali-G52 graphics may not run certain games optimally.
- Peak brightness on the low side at only 800 nits.
- No display protection.
- Only available in two color variants.
The TECNO SPARK 30 is a good pick for social media browsing and casual use. But if you want alternatives, here are some with a 6K or 7K SRP:
