Attractive and sharp, the TECNO SPARK 30 5G brings the 5G experience to a wider audience, augmented with a high-resolution camera. But at an SRP of almost 10K, is it a game-changer or just a compromise?
The main specs of the TECNO SPARK 30 5G is composed of the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM, a 6.67” IPS LCD panel, and a 5,000mAh battery. At a glance, they look good but one of them is nerfed.
Still, the real star is the 108MP main camera at the back, accompanied by the ring-like LED flash. It should result in better shots at close range under dim-lit conditions. Although the selfie camera is just an 8MP lens, you may get decent selfies with the dual-LED flash.
The handset runs Android 14 with HiOS 14.5 on top, but we don’t know if it’ll get a major software upgrade. Still, the brand claims that you can use it smoothly for five years with its performance fluency.

- Major software upgrades uncertain.
- No bypass charging; minor downside.
