TECNO has expanded its Spark 50 lineup with the launch of the new Spark 50 Pro, a smartphone that combines enhanced durability, fast charging, AI-powered software features, and a distinctive design inspired by today’s flagship devices.
One of the first things you’ll notice is the rear camera module. The Spark 50 Pro adopts a camera island design reminiscent of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro series, although the setup itself is much simpler.
The phone features a single 50MP rear camera powered by a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor measuring 1/1.95 inches, paired with an f/1.8 aperture. While TECNO opted for a minimalist camera configuration, the use of a Sony sensor should help deliver solid imaging performance for the segment.
Up front, the Spark 50 Pro sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP front camera, while audio is delivered through dual DTS stereo speakers.
Under the hood, TECNO has equipped the device with MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultimate processor. The 4G chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Battery capacity varies depending on the market. Some regions will receive a 5,600mAh dual-cell battery, while others will get a 6,000mAh single-cell battery. Regardless of the version, both support 60W wired fast charging.
Tecno also claims the battery will maintain more than 80% of its original capacity after six years of daily use, highlighting the company’s focus on long-term battery health.
Durability is another major highlight. The Spark 50 Pro comes with both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water exposure features that remain relatively uncommon in its segment.
On the software side, the device runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes Tecno’s growing suite of AI-powered tools.
These features are part of the company’s TECNO AI package, which includes the Ella AI Agent, AI Writing, AI Health Assistant, and AI Noise Cancellation for calls.
The TECNO Spark 50 Pro will be available in five color options:
- Ink Black
- Titanium Grey
- Midnight Blue
- Dynamic Orange
- Cloud White
TECNO has yet to announce official pricing and availability details for the Spark 50 Pro. Those details are expected to be revealed at a later date.
