Fresh CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra reveal major changes in design and hardware. The leaks show a shift toward rounded corners, a huge new camera bump, and upgraded performance across the board.

Design: Softer Edges, Slimmer Frame
Samsung is moving away from the boxy Ultra and Note look. The S26 Ultra features rounded corners for better comfort while keeping a flat display with slim bezels. The body measures just 7.9mm thin without the cameras.
Cameras: A Massive Bump
The slimmer frame comes at a cost: a huge rear camera island. The bump adds 4.5mm, making the phone 12.4mm thick at its peak. The 200MP main sensor returns with a wider f/1.4 aperture for better low-light shots, joined by a 50MP 5x periscope lens with f/2.9. The 3x telephoto may see little to no improvement.
Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
Inside, the S26 Ultra packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 built on 3nm tech, offering up to 20% faster CPU and 35% better efficiency. It keeps the 5,000mAh battery but now supports faster 60W charging. Expect up to 16GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Pro Features and AI Tools
Samsung is pushing pro-grade video recording with support for LOG, LUTs, and a new APV codec for near-lossless footage. AI-driven tools like “Private Display” will add smarter privacy features.
Bottom Line

The Galaxy S26 Ultra aims to balance comfort, raw power, and pro-level cameras, even if it means a bigger bump on the back.
Is the rumored 60W wired charging fast enough for a 2026 flagship?
