Samsung will still develop its own Exynos 2300 though…
According to leaks, the much-awaited Samsung S23 lineup will be equipped with Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 2, which also is surrounded with a lot of buzz lately. The latest Samsung smartphones will have this kind of processor for a long time. This is not the first rodeo of Samsung into Qualcomm territory, but for example, the Galaxy-S series is heavily region-dependent.
The next flagship processor for Qualcomm (SM8550) will be released this November and phones will probably use the chipset around December or January the next year. The Samsung Galaxy S23 on the other hand, will finally hit the market next year (so far yet so close!).
Their very own chipset however, the Exynos 2300, will likely to be shelved under the name Quadra. We wonder what’s the reason behind this, is Samsung has finally given up to the competition?
So far, here’s what we know about the new Samsung release: it will be equipped with a quad-camera setup (108MP + 10MP + 10MP + 12 MP camera) plus a 40MP selfie camera—that’s a heavy feature so far!
As for its battery, it will have a 5000mAh battery with a 45W fast charging mechanism. But now, we still don’t have news yet whether it will use Li-ion or Li-Po variants.
