An economic price tag must be traded and these are the typical ones observed among Transsion phones.
- Upgrade limitation: Budget smartphones aren’t meant to last very long and with their affordable price tags, don’t expect major Android upgrades. But you may still get security updates for a year or two.
- Weak processors: The itel S25 Ultra looks so fine with a crisp display but because of its price, something must be traded like the CPU.
- Small storage: This year, Transsion’s budget offerings can have 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. But before blazing through the competition, many of its models were launched with 3 to 6GB RAM and 64GB of ROM.
- So-so cameras: Camera sensors aren’t cheap, which explains the 50MP main camera paired with auxiliary sensors. But the quality is enough for everyday social media posts.
- Slow charging: Sometimes, the charging speed is exchanged for a good price. You may see some Transsion models with 10 to 18W charging. It isn’t a big deal if bypass charging is supported.
