The Dimensity 9400, set to launch on October 9 in China, will be the first chipset to power the X200 series. Built on TSMC’s 3nm process, this powerful SoC boasts a formidable CPU architecture featuring a single 3.63GHz Cortex-X925 ultra-core, three 2.8GHz Cortex-X4 cores, and four 2.1GHz Cortex-A7 series cores. The Cortex-X925 alone offers a substantial 36% performance boost and a 41% increase in AI capabilities compared to its predecessor.
On the graphics front, the Dimensity 9400 integrates the Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU, which introduces hardware-level ray tracing technology. This breakthrough enhances ray tracing performance by 20%, graphics performance by 37%,and handling of complex information by 52%, while also improving AI and machine learning workloads by 34% and reducing power consumption by 30%.
