Camera

The highlight of the vivo X300 series is its cutting-edge camera system. The vivo X300 Pro sports a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens co-developed with Samsung, designed for high-range optical zoom and crisp detail even from a distance. It’s backed by Zeiss optics and includes support for a 2.35x telephoto extender clip that enhances framing flexibility and creative shooting angles.

The main camera uses the Sony LYT-828 sensor, which significantly improves HDR and low-light imaging. Powering the photo processing are vivo’s custom V1+ and VS3 imaging chips, engineered to deliver cleaner detail, better contrast, and faster image capture across lighting conditions.

The standard vivo X300 also delivers a strong camera experience with a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP zoom module. While it doesn’t feature the Pro’s dual imaging chips, it still produces sharp, detailed shots that stay true to vivo’s imaging legacy.

Chipset and Hardware

Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, a flagship-level chip built for high performance and efficiency. The X300 recently appeared on Geekbench with impressive scores that confirm it’s ready for demanding use cases like gaming, photography, and multitasking.

Battery life also looks promising. The X300 Pro packs around 6,510 mAh, while the X300 holds roughly 6,040 mAh. Both support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, so topping up won’t take long.

Other hardware highlights include IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, plus ultra-low display brightness at just 1 nit for comfortable reading in the dark.
