HMD is giving the classic feature phone a modern trick. The Nokia 300 Charge packs a massive 3,700mAh battery and can use that power to charge other devices.
Its biggest feature is a dedicated “Out” button that activates 10W reverse charging through USB-C. The phone itself also supports 10W charging.

A huge battery for a tiny phone
The 3,700mAh battery is more than double the capacity of the 1,750mAh Nokia 110 Power and far ahead of the 1,000mAh battery in the Nokia 105 (2023).
HMD claims over 40 days of standby time and up to 37 hours of talk time, making it an interesting backup phone for travel or emergencies.
The catch? It’s 2G-only, using 900MHz and 1,800MHz bands. That means it won’t work in countries where 2G networks have been shut down.
It even has a powerful flashlight
The phone has a top-mounted LED flashlight that HMD says is 4× brighter than the Nokia 105’s flashlight and 2× brighter than the iPhone 16 Pro’s.
It also has a basic 320 × 240 camera, although calling it a modern camera might be generous.
Rugged look, but not actually rugged
The angular body, textured sides, and Sandstone and Green finishes give the Nokia 300 Charge a rugged appearance.
However, HMD doesn’t list any official water or impact resistance ratings. If you want a genuinely rugged Nokia, models such as the Nokia 123 Shield and HMD Terra M offer stronger protection.
Available in the Philippines
The Nokia 300 Charge is already available from Philippine retailers, with prices reported at around ₱1,990 to ₱2,190.
It’s also sold as the “Nokia 300 Power Bank” in some markets.
At around ₱2,000, this isn’t trying to replace your smartphone. It’s a long-lasting backup phone that can also rescue your dying smartphone.
Not bad for a phone that looks like it escaped from the early 2000s.
