According to a report, OnePlus, realme, and REDMI are working on several smartphones with very high battery capacities. Both OnePlus and REDMI have models with 7,000mAh batteries while realme has something with 8,000mAh!

Popular tipster, Digital Chat Station, revealed the information on Weibo. The alleged OnePlus and REDMI phones with 7,000mAh batteries may also support up to 100W of rapid charging. A previous report suggested something similar being produced by iQOO. On the other hand, the realme with a 8,000mAh battery may have 80W of rapid charging.

DCS suggested that these new smartphones are mid-rangers, equipped with 2K LTPS Samsung flat screen and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader. But they didn’t say which lineups are getting these interesting upgrades.

There’s one curious detail not mentioned by the tipster: the battery type. Higher smartphones are now moving from lithium-based to silicon-carbon batteries. So, it’s an intriguing thought if the brands will share the tech to their mid-range offerings next year.
