Although way may never see an IQOO smartphone launching in the Philippines, it’s always nice to see what we are missing…
The rush to release the first products using Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is on. The iQOO 11 Pro is being developed by the vivo sub-brand iQOO with comparable flagship specs on the way.
Earlier today, some exclusive information on this device was disclosed by our industry sources. It will, in fact, feature Qualcomm’s next top-of-the-line processor, as suggested by a prototype’s recent performance in benchmark tests.
Next up, the iQOO 11 Pro will arrive with vivo’s proprietary V2 image analysis chip, which has been officially announced last week and promises better low lighting improvements as well as overall faster response times for processing images
The smartphone will sport a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display, as well as a BMW M Motorsports look. As soon as it is released, Android 13 will be working on it.
Talking of which, this could debut in India in January, but it doesn’t appear like the precise date has been determined yet. Clearly then, this will be among the first handsets to arrive on the market powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and it seems like it could be among the most exciting of the lot.
The iQOO 11 Pro is expected to boast a 4,700 mAh battery with 200W charging capabilities, a 120 Hz refresh rate for the QHD+ display, and up to 1440Hz PWM dimming for flicker prevention, according to previous reports.
