The mid-range offering from vivo, the vivo S16 Series, will have three very different processors from Samsung, MediaTek and Qualcomm

vivo S16 series was unveiled by vivo in China. The selection for cameras continues to emphasize elegance and attractive design. These smartphones also excel in terms of performance. In actuality, mobile phones have a wide variety of CPUs. The Exynos 1080 is included in the vivo S16, the Snapdragon 870 is in the S16e, and the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 is in the S16 Pro.

The S16 Series’ display and front camera

The design and specifications of the vivo S16 and S16 Pro are extremely similar. Both phones have 6.78-inch AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Both have curved screens with punch-hole holes in the top center. These openings house a powerful 50-Megapixel shooter.

The selfie camera includes autofocus as well as two LED flashes on the top bezel. The cheapest version, the vivo S16e, has a smaller flat AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a tiny 16 MP selfie shooter.

Main cams

The vivo S16 Pro’s rear camera configuration includes a 50 MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766V sensor and OIS. It also has an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro camera. The main camera on the vanilla phone is 64 MP. That is the same camera used in the standard vivo S15.

It also includes PDAF and OIS, as well as 8MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro lenses. The main camera on the vivo S16e is a 50 MP unit with an f/1.8 aperture. However, its auxiliary cameras are straightforward: a 2 MP depth camera and a 2 MP macro module.

The rest of its specs

The fact that each of these phones has a separate processor from a special manufacturer makes them stand out from one another. The vivo S16 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The vivo S16e is powered by a Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC, whilst the S16 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Even if the Dimensity 8200 offers a number of benefits based on the specs, some people will still choose for the Snapdragon 870. The Qualcomm processor may ultimately offer better gaming performance. Even though it is the least effective of the three, the Exynos 1080 is still among the best in the mid-range category. Every phone includes a 4,600 mAh battery to keep the lights on. Additionally, they share a 66W wired charging system. outdated Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean on top comes with the vivo S16e, nevertheless.
