vivo may not be done expanding its T5 lineup just yet. After launching the vivo T5, T5 Pro, and T5x, the company is reportedly preparing a fourth member of the series for the Indian market.
A new leak has now revealed the key specifications of the upcoming vivo T5 Lite, suggesting the device will focus on battery life, a smooth display experience, and 5G connectivity while targeting the affordable segment.
According to the leaked information, the vivo T5 Lite will feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also said to reach up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, which should help improve visibility outdoors.
Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor, bringing built-in 5G support to the smartphone. The same chipset has appeared in several budget-friendly 5G devices and is designed to balance everyday performance with power efficiency.
For photography, the vivo T5 Lite is tipped to feature a 50MP main rear camera, while selfies and video calls will be handled by a 5MP front-facing camera.
Battery life appears to be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The device is rumored to pack a 6,500mAh battery paired with 44W wired fast charging, giving users a large power reserve alongside relatively quick charging speeds.
The leak also reveals three memory configurations for the smartphone:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 256GB storage
Beyond its core specifications, the vivo T5 Lite is said to carry an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, adding a layer of durability that is becoming increasingly common in the segment.
Security will reportedly be handled through a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the frame.
In terms of design, the device is tipped to measure 8.39mm thick and weigh 209 grams. Buyers will reportedly be able to choose between two color options: Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue.
While vivo has yet to officially confirm the device, the latest leak suggests the company is preparing another battery-focused addition to the T5 family. If the rumored specifications prove accurate, the vivo T5 Lite could offer a compelling mix of a high-refresh-rate display, 5G connectivity, a large battery, and practical durability features for budget-conscious buyers.
