vivo has officially launched the vivo T5 Pro 5G in India, expanding its T-series lineup with a device focused on battery life, gaming performance, and durability. The new model arrives with a large AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, and one of the biggest batteries in its segment.

The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2800 × 1260), 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate. vivo says the panel reaches up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, supports HDR10+, and includes 2160Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, built on a 4nm process with clock speeds up to 2.5GHz and paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. vivo claims the phone scores around 1.2 million points on AnTuTu. It also includes a large 7K VC cooling system, which the company says is the biggest in the segment, and supports gaming at up to 120 FPS.
Memory and storage options include 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the vivo T5 Pro 5G carries a 50MP main rear camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and f/1.79 aperture, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

The standout feature is its 9,020mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging. vivo says the phone can charge up to 50% in 37 minutes. Despite the battery size, the device measures just 8.25mm thick and weighs 213g. The company is also promising five years of battery health retention.
The handset runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and is set to receive three years of OS updates and five years of security updates.
Additional features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM 5G support, and multiple global navigation systems including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS.
Durability is another focus, with IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
The vivo T5 Pro 5G comes in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue. Pricing starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version, and Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB trim.
