vivo v21s launched in Taiwan with no hype amidst impressive specs

It’s another vivo phone, and this time, it’s under the V Series; despite good specs, it doesn’t receive any promotions prior to launch

The vivo V21s 5G, a new phone, has been quietly unveiled by vivo in Taiwan. Yes, it is a phone from the V21 series! The vivo V23 and V25 series of smartphones have previously been released by the corporation in the nation, while the V21s 5G has just been introduced.

The 6.44-inch AMOLED display on the vivo V21s 5G offers a 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 2404 x 1080 pixels. It has an 8 GB RAM and Dimensity 800U chipset under the hood.

The phone’s operating system is FunTouch OS 12 on top of Android 12. It has a 128 GB internal storage space. A 4,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging is also present though it is a bit less than the standard 5,000mAh special today.

The 44-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the Vivo V21s 5G offers OIS capability. A 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera are all located on the device’s back panel.

Dual SIM support, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a USB-C connector, and a 3.5mm headphone socket are among the connection features that the vivo V21s 5G offers. The vivo V21s 5G weighs about 177 grams and has dimensions of 159.68 x 73.90 x 7.29mm.

Between the V21s 5G and the previous Vivo V21 5G smartphones, we were unable to identify any significant differences as of now.

The NT$ 11,490 price of the vivo V21s 5G or around ₱20,999 here. In Taiwan, it comes in two hues, including Dark Blue and Colorful. Our guess that it will be released here a month or two in our country, but as of now, all are speculative.
