Batman and Robin, Cookies and Cream, PB and J – The best things in life do come in pairs, don’t they? Just a month prior, we welcomed into our shores vivo’s mid-year update to their V series of phones, the V60.

Now vivo is back again, this time with the follow-up to their V Lite series, meet the vivo V60 Lite. Offering more than just an incremental upgrade over the V50 Lite, it wants to take the brand’s “fun and functional” formula to the next level.

Unboxing

If you’ve ever used a V series device before then you’ll feel right at home with the vivo V60 Lite’s packaging. But for the uninitiated, the V60 Lite comes in a sleek and minimalist dark box with a glowing blue ring (alluding to the V series’ aura light feature) housing the vivo V60 Lite nameplate.

Crack it open and you’ll find the following:

  • The vivo V60 Lite itself
  • A clear protective case
  • SIM ejector tool
  • Documentation including the quick start guide and safety information
  • The 90W FlashCharge power brick
  • Type-C Cable

Design: Why Mess with Success?

When it comes to the design, the vivo V60 Lite doesn’t really venture out of its comfort zone, and with good reason. The V60’s design is one, if not, the most stylishly designed smartphone in the mid-range segment. So why change a winning formula?

The design might be the same but where the vivo V60 Lite decided to stand out is in its colorways. Right now, the vivo V60 Lite is available in three fun colors that is sure to be a conversational starter wherever you go. There’s Pop Pink, Titanium Blue, and Elegant Black.

It’s also quite thin and light at just 194 g and 7.59mm thin (or 7.69mm for Pop Pink), and that’s with the V60 Lite having a massive battery (more on that later). Add in the SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance and Military-Grade Certifications and you’ve got yourself a design that’s both beautiful and durable.

The left side remains clear while all the buttons, including the volume rocker and power button, are situated on the right side. Up top you’ll find one part of the stereo speakers, plus a microphone. Down at the bottom there’s the SIM tray, the other speaker grille, the Type-C port, and another microphone.

Display: Your Binge-watching Buddy

The back isn’t just where the vivo V60 Lite pops, the same experience continues all throughout the device, especially in the display.

Speaking of the display, the vivo V60 Lite features a large 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Add to that the 94.2% screen-to-body ratio and HDR10+ certification that makes the whole experience more immersive.

It’s also Netflix HDR and Amazon Prime Video certified, so you can enjoy crisp, high-quality streaming right out of the box. vivo has even included SGS Low Blue Light Certification, ensuring comfortable viewing during long binge sessions.

Performance: Turbocharged for Everyday Use

vivo really went all out with the V60 Lite. Instead of just slapping on a slightly better chipset than the V50 Lite’s MediaTek Dimensity 6300, vivo went above and beyond with the V60 Lite’s chipset, opting instead for the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo.

Every aspect of the performance has been revamped with up to a 49% faster CPU, 105% faster GPU, and an overall 60% boost in performance compared to the vivo V50 Lite. Plus, it runs Funtouch OS 15 out of the box, with an upgrade to Origin OS 6 in the first half of 2026.

Pair that with up to 12GB of RAM (24GB if you toggle the Extended RAM feature) and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and you have yourself a phone that handles everything from high-speed gaming to productivity apps with ease.

And with the Ultra Game Mode, you get extra perks like Game Boost Mode, Esports Mode, and Mistouch Prevention that’s designed to keep your focus on the action without any interruption.

Before we forget, there’s another version of the vivo V60 Lite, a 4G one, which is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset. But regardless of which one you choose, vivo promises that even after 5 years, the phone performs well.

Battery: Power That Just Keeps Going

Probably one of the vivo V60 Lite’s strengths lies in its battery (which we alluded to earlier). The vivo V60 Lite features a massive 6500 mAh BlueVolt Battery which vivo claims up to five years of healthy battery life. Pretty rare considering most phones give out after just 2-3 years of daily use.

And to minimize downtime, vivo equipped the V60 Lite with a 90W FlashCharge that gets you back to full in just 52 minutes. But if you don’t have 52 minutes before your next gaming session, the Gaming Bypass Charging feature should power you through the session without heating up your battery.

Camera: AI-Enhanced Versatility

I mean, c’mon… This wouldn’t be a vivo phone if it didn’t have best in its class mobile imaging which is why vivo equipped the V60 Lite with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor for the main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.

This combo makes for true-to-life shots that capture light and detail even in low-light conditions. Plus, with the 2x lossless zoom, photos remain sharp and natural without sacrificing quality.

For the selfie-lovers out there, the 32 MP front camera delivers crisp results. But if that still isn’t enough, vivo’s AI Portrait Style and AI Four-Season Portrait (5G exclusive feature) brings your selfie A-game to a whole new level. Automatically applying seasonal effects like spring, autumn, or winter hues using depth and color algorithms, giving every selfie a cinematic look.

Lastly, there’s Dual View Video, 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras, AI Erase 3.0 for those pesky photobombers, and AI Photo Enhance, all baked in into the camera and Photos app.

Audio and Entertainment

What good would the vivo V60 Lite’s Netflix HDR and Amazon Prime Video certification be if you can’t hear what you’re watching? Well, not to worry because vivo didn’t skimp on sound. The 400% Volume Dual Stereo Speakers delivers a surprisingly loud and clear audio experience.

Eh baka naman basag ang tunog? That’s where you’d be wrong! It’s loud but not ear-rape loud, just enough to make you feel like you’re carrying a mini speaker in your pocket.

Final Thoughts

The vivo V60 Lite 5G might be labeled as a “Lite” version, but there’s nothing lightweight about its capabilities. It’s designed for users who want a phone that balances style, stamina, and speed, all without breaking the bank.

From its sleek design and vibrant AMOLED display to the Dimensity 7360-Turbo performance and massive 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, this phone delivers where it matters most. And with its AI-enhanced camera system and immersive audio, the V60 Lite easily stands out as one of vivo’s most well-rounded mid-range offerings this year.
