Exciting news for foldable phone lovers as vivo is about to launch its newest foldable smartphone, the X Fold 2. The company has been dropping hints about it in China and the phone’s design has already been revealed.
The camera system is going to be tuned in partnership with Zeiss. It might also be the very first foldable phone to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm. The listing on Geekbench reveals that it runs on the powerful flagship SoC with a top clock speed of 3.19GHz. This means that the X Fold 2 is going to pack a serious punch when it comes to performance.
The model number of the X Fold 2 listed on Geekbench is V2266A, and it boasts 12GB of RAM. We can expect the phone to offer either 256GB or 512GB of storage. This is plenty of space for all your apps, photos, and videos.
And if you’re curious about the operating system, the device will come with Android 13 right out of the box. If you’re outside of China, you’ll likely get the Funtouch OS 13 skin on top of Android. But for Chinese consumers, the X Fold 2 will feature the Origin OS 3 skin. With all these exciting features, we can’t wait to see what else the X Fold 2 has in store!
