vivo is taking the X Fold6 global, bringing its latest foldable flagship outside China with a 200MP ZEISS camera, dual 120Hz LTPO AMOLED displays, 6,900mAh battery, and a slim foldable design.

The X Fold6 runs OriginOS 7 Fold based on Android 17, with vivo focusing heavily on productivity. Its Multi-Task Workbench supports up to four resizable windows, while Origin Workbench can keep one main window alongside four auxiliary windows. AI Cross-App Drag also lets users move content between apps.
AI features include AI Meeting Assistant for transcription and summaries, AI Captions for real-time subtitles, AI File Manager for organizing files, and AI Reader Mode for converting PDFs into an eBook-style layout. The phone also supports Desktop Mode through vivo Office Kit when connected to a compatible monitor or TV. Jovi can handle voice-controlled tasks and cross-device workflows between phones and PCs, while Security Shield monitors app permissions and network risks.
Under the hood is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition with an Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Power comes from a huge 6,900mAh BlueVolt battery using fifth-generation silicon-anode and third-generation semi-solid-state technology. It supports 80W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, with vivo claiming efficient discharge down to -20°C.
Despite the large battery, the X Fold6 remains slim. The Prism Black version measures just 4.4mm unfolded and weighs 228g, while Horizon Blue is 4.8mm and 235g. It also features an Ultra-Reliable Lightweight Hinge, 2.5D flat metal frame, and Minimal Ring camera design.

For durability, the phone carries IP58, IP59, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings listed in the specification sheet. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, eSIM/data-plan support, and dual SIM. vivo’s Data Store feature supports local cellular data purchases across 129 countries and regions.
The display setup uses two ZEISS Master Color Displays. The inner screen is an 8.02-inch 2K+ AMOLED LTPO panel with a 2504 × 2312 resolution, while the cover screen measures 6.51 inches at 2528 × 1120. Both support 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rates and up to 5,000 nits local peak brightness.

The inner display uses Samsung M14 material, while the outer panel uses BOE Q11 material. Both use 8T-LTPO backplanes, with the main display also supporting HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and UTG glass.
Photography is another major highlight. The X Fold6 features a 200MP Samsung HPB main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, f/1.68 aperture, OIS, and ZEISS T* coating.
It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto using a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYTIA 602 sensor. The telephoto supports telephoto macro photography and up to 100x ZEISS HyperZoom.
The camera system also gets Motion Portrait 2.0, Stage Mode, Night Flash Portrait, and multi-focal-length portrait shooting. Stage Mode supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video. Both the inner and outer displays have 20MP selfie cameras.
The foldable design adds several camera-focused features, including Split-Screen Preview, an external teleprompter mode, an interactive cover screen for children and pets, and Left-Screen Preview for showing previous shots beside the live viewfinder.
