The vivo X Note is a huge phone, in this case, phablet. Pang premium din ang materials ang ginamit: faux leather for the rear panel, and of course, glass front and a metal frame.
Hindi ka na rin magwo-worry sa accidental splashes sa vivo X Note dahil meron na siyang IP68 rating. It can stay submerged at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Pwede mo na ‘to idala sa beach for that perfect sunset shots, or group pictures.
Medyo may kabigatan lang ang vivo X Note – measuring 6.65 x 3.16 x 0.33 in, and weighing at 221g, hindi siya made for all-day hand carrying. Although holding the phone is a different experience – it’s all screen at napakanipis ng bezels.
Dahil classified as a phablet ang vivo X Note, sobrang laki ng screen. The display measures a wide 7 inches. It uses an LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1440 x 3080 pixels.
With these specs, it’s impossible not to binge watch sa mga series on Netflix. It’s more than good enough for people who are into general media consumption. Sinamahan na rin sana ng stylus, but a phone can’t have all the good things.
If you think this phone is best for at-home use, the 1500 nits of brightness will say otherwise. Pwedeng pwede sya under the sun, and you’ll be able to use this in daylight.
The vivo X Note uses the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Expect overheating from this chipset, pero we’re guessing vivo X Note designers took this into account. We don’t have the product yet, but basing on how the designers included a IP68 rating means meron din focus sa design and hardware.
In fact, meron syang malapad na graphite steel for its cooling system. Graphite steel is effective in dispersing heat – and if ever you own the device soon, don’t worry about the warmth sa likod ng device. It’s supposed to deliver heat away from the processor and into the outer surface of the device.
The base version of the device has 8GB of RAM, and 256 internal storage. It’s also available in 12GB | 256GB, and 12GB | 512GB. Sa sobrang laki ng storage, masakit sa ulo ang maghintay ng file transfer. Salamat sa SD 8 Gen 1, the phone is able transfer files faster with UFS 3.1.
To power this giant of a device, it comes with a 5000mAh battery. At hindi lang 80W fast charging, meron din syang 50W fast wireless charging. Talagang made for on-the-go media consumption ang vivo X Note.
The vivo X Note has a quad camera setup for different scenarios. The main camera features a 50MP Isocell GN1. We’re surprised hindi sila gumamit ng mas updated na Isocell GN5, but aside from the 50MP main shooter, it’s equipped with an OIS. The 8MP periscope allows for 5x optical zoom that also comes with an OIS.
Meron syang 48MP ultrawide camera para sa groufies and scenic shots. The 12MP telephoto camera has a 2x optical zoom ideal for portrait shots if the 8MP periscope won’t do.
The selfie camera does well on its own too. At 16MP, makakakuha ka na ng magandang selfies. The camera lens comes equipped with Zeiss optics, and can record high-quality videos, up to 8K resolution.
