The vivo X200 Ultra is set to be vivo’s ultimate camera flagship for 2025, designed to take on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Oppo Find X8 Ultra. A now-deleted Weibo post from the renowned Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed exciting details about the device’s camera system, sparking speculation and anticipation.
Cutting-Edge Camera System

According to the leak, the X200 Ultra will boast a powerful triple-camera setup:
- 50 MP main sensor (1/1.28″ type)
- 50 MP ultrawide sensor (1/1.28″ type)
- 200 MP periscope telephoto sensor (1/1.4″ type)
Interestingly, the prototype models reportedly position the ultrawide camera at 1x in the viewfinder, while the main camera is set to 1.5x—a shift from traditional smartphone camera configurations. If Apple had introduced such a change, it could have sparked a new industry trend. However, it remains to be seen whether vivo will implement this in the final version or if it’s simply a matter of labeling.
Stunning Display & Design
Beyond its camera prowess, the X200 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with micro-curved edges, ultra-slim bezels, and a circular camera island for a premium look and feel.
Why Was the Leak Deleted?
Digital Chat Station’s original post was quickly edited, removing all these details and replacing them with the word “early”—fueling speculation that the leak might have come too soon. While the information could be accurate, there’s also a chance some details were incorrect. However, given that he claims to have personally handled an X200 Ultra prototype, the credibility of the leak remains strong.
Expected Launch Date & Availability
The vivo X200 Ultra is expected to launch in March or April 2025, but unfortunately, it won’t be sold officially outside of China.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official unveiling of vivo’s most advanced camera flagship yet!
