vivo is gearing up to launch two new mid-range contenders, the Y300 Pro+ and Y300 GT, with specs that suggest these phones are built for endurance and smooth performance. The leaks have already started rolling in, and if the details are accurate, these devices could be some of the most battery-packed smartphones in their category.
vivo Y300 Pro+: Fast Charging Meets Flagship-Like Display
Set to launch on March 31 in China, the Y300 Pro+ is shaping up to be a solid mid-range option. Under the hood, it’s rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, backed by 12GB of RAM. That should translate to decent multitasking and gaming performance.
One of the biggest highlights? A massive 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging. If the leaks hold true, this means you’re looking at some serious battery life without waiting forever to recharge. Vivo is also stepping up the display game with a quad-curved AMOLED panel, which could make it feel more premium than your typical mid-ranger. And for those who love mobile photography, the 50MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) should help deliver better shots, especially in low light.
vivo Y300 GT: More Power, Even Bigger Battery
While the Y300 GT hasn’t been fully detailed yet, it’s been spotted on Geekbench, revealing that it might come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset and 12GB of RAM. That could mean better efficiency and performance, especially for gaming.
But what’s even crazier? The 7,600mAh battery. Yes, it’s bigger than the Pro+. While fast charging details haven’t been confirmed yet, it’s safe to assume that Vivo will include something competitive. This phone is also rumored to be quite similar to the upcoming iQOO Z10 Turbo, which is expected to launch in April.
What to expect?
With these leaks surfacing, vivo seems to be focusing on battery life and performance in its Y300 series. If these specs are legit, we might be looking at some of the most power-packed mid-rangers on the market. But, as always, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to see if these phones truly deliver on the hype.
