vivo is preparing to introduce a new battery-focused smartphone, and it is bringing serious endurance to the table. After several teasers, the company has officially confirmed that the vivo Y600 Pro will launch on April 27, with early details highlighting what could become one of the brand’s most ambitious Y series devices yet.
According to Huang Tao, Vice President of vivo China, the vivo Y600 Pro will feature a 10,200mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever used in a vivo smartphone so far.
Vivo says the device is built around five key battery strengths:
- Long-lasting endurance
- Stable output across temperatures up to 60°C
- Efficient power management through chip-level AI optimization
- Up to six years of battery health durability
- 90W fast charging
The battery uses second-generation semi-solid battery technology, aimed at improving stability and longevity.
Despite its huge battery size, vivo says the Y600 Pro supports 90W fast charging, capable of charging the phone fully in under 80 minutes.
The company also claims the phone can deliver:
- More than 24 hours of light use
- Over 12 hours under heavy workloads
That positions the Y600 Pro as a strong option for users who prioritize battery life above all else.
Beyond endurance, vivo has also confirmed several additional features, including:
- 1.5K eye-care display
- IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistance
- Improved connectivity
- OriginOS 6
The phone is also said to feature a premium design.
The vivo Y600 Pro recently appeared in a China Telecom listing, revealing what appears to be its full specifications.

- 6.83-inch OLED display
- 2800 x 1260 resolution
- MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset
- Android 16 with OriginOS 6
- 50MP rear camera
- 32MP front camera
- Up to 12GB RAM
- Up to 512GB storage
The device is also listed with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Despite packing a 10,200mAh cell, the phone reportedly measures just 8.15mm thick and weighs 221 grams, which is relatively slim considering the battery capacity.

The vivo Y600 Pro is expected to arrive in four colors:
- Floating Gold
- Bright Moon Black
- Vast Blue
- Starry Purple
Sales in China are expected to begin on April 30, shortly after the official April 27 unveiling.
