Good News! The Xiaomi 12 series is set to launch in the Philippines in a few days. What excites me know is that they are not only releasing the Xiaomi 12 but also the Xiaomi 12 Pro which was not done in many years.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is the much awaited flagship phone and for me is the true successor to the Xiaomi 11. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is packing an all flagship top of the line spec sheet, It has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which could potentially hit 1 Million points in Antutu Benchmark.
It is also has a powerful 6.73-inch QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Display(1440×3200) with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision which is a huge upgrade from the Xiaomi 11 and it even has Dolby ATMOS and Quad Stereo Speakers tuned by Harman Kardon this could really boost immersion and give you that fantastic cinema experience on the go.
The refresh rate is still 120Hz is not that impressive and most midrange and even entry level phones have now. But if you think about it there are practically very few applications/games that take advantage of anything that has over 120FPS in the mobile space so it is totally okay for the Xiaomi 12 Pro to stick with this.
The camera of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is all 50MP Triple Camera setup in the rear with Sony IMX707. The Xiaomi 12 has a 50MP as well but not a Sony IMX707 sensor, and it has a 13MP ultra-wide and 5MP Telemacro. In terms of charging, the Pro version has 120W charging and the standard version is 67W charging.
