As the MWC 2023 is in progress, Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 Lite as part of the 13 series. It is the first Lite variant from Xiaomi and it is also the first Xiaomi device to have an island.
How good is the phone?
The phone has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 20 percent GPU power and 30% AI performance from the previous. It has a A 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It comes with an 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage option, 4500mAh battery, and USB-C 67W rapid charging.
The back camera contains a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8, an 8MP sensor with a field of view of 115 degrees, and a 2MP macro assist. Moreover, the phone has a dual island with front-facing shooters, which include a 32MP main and an 8MP depth sensor.
Xiaomi claims that this will lead to less selfie distortion, zoom, or pocket mirror thanks to its Dynamic Framing function. They say it can intelligently recognize the number of people in the picture. From that, it can automatically adjust Field of View, and zoom in or out for better output.
Design
This new handset carries some resemblance to its big brothers, clean fresh looks, and shiny glass covers. However, the camera island slightly differs this time.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint reader, two speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone also has WiFi 6, dual SIM and Android 12 OS with a MIUI 14 interface.
Pricing and Availability
The phone starts at €499 which is about Php 29,100 when converted and it is available for preorder now and it will be on sale starting 8 March To see the full specs click here: Full Specs
