Xiaomi 15 Unveiled: Redefining Flagship Innovation with HyperAI and HyperOS

Xiaomi just wrapped up their “The Next Pinnacle” launch event for the Xiaomi 15, and with it came a slew of AI-driven features wrapped in a phone that truly embodies the pinnacle of smartphone design.

Pricing

Before we go over the aforementioned features, let’s mix things up, starting with the price. The Xiaomi 15 comes in two variants, a 256GB and a 512GB variant, both come with 12GB of RAM. The former is priced at ₱45,999, while the latter is priced at ₱49,999.

However, early birds can take advantage of Xiaomi’s promotional offer that will run from March 7 until 23, wherein buyers will receive a complimentary gift box set coupled with an Instant Photo Printer 1S. Additionally, Xiaomi is also offering a free REDMI Pad SE 8.7” when the order is placed through Shopee and Lazada.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s shift our focus over to the Xiaomi 15 itself.

What’s changed?

Improved software

At the heart of the flagship is Xiaomi’s HyperAI, which was designed to enhance various aspects of the smartphone. It not only serves as a personal assistant to the user; it’s also responsible for optimizing performance, enhancing camera capabilities, and ensuring that the battery performs in tiptop shape.

Of course, HyperAI is only one part of the experience. Another is HyperOS 2, which is based on the latest Android 15. I think people will love what Xiaomi has done with the HyperOS 2. Offering a clean, smooth, and intuitive interface with tons of customizable features that is both innovative and practical.

Flagship level performance

Being that this is Xiaomi’s flagship device, it’s only right that it receive the flagship treatment. The Xiaomi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with a 6.36-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display which offers vibrant visuals and buttery smooth scrolling.

As for the camera system, Xiaomi once again partnered up with renowned camera brand Leica to calibrate and enhance the Xiaomi 15’s triple camera setup. Consisting of a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens, bundled with Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0, you’ll always get high-quality photos and videos regardless of skill and condition.
