Xiaomi continues to build momentum for the Xiaomi 17 Max, revealing more key specifications after its initial design teaser. While the exact launch date remains unconfirmed, the device is set to debut in China later this month.
Xiaomi has confirmed through a teaser on Weibo that the 17 Max will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The smartphone will feature a 6.9 inch flat display. Xiaomi states that this is the same panel used on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, delivering visual quality comparable to a 2K resolution screen.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is confirmed to pack an 8,000mAh battery. Charging specifications have not been officially disclosed.
Recent reports indicate support for 100W wired fast charging.
The device will feature a 200 megapixel Leica main rear camera. It will also include a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Additional reports mention a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera as part of the setup.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is already available for pre order in China. Xiaomi is expected to announce the official launch date in the coming days.
