Fresh leaks are shedding more light on Xiaomi’s next flagship lineup, with the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max shaping up to be a powerhouse focused on display size, camera hardware, and battery life.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims Xiaomi’s upcoming large-screen flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation SM8975 chip, expected to launch as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. While the device name was not directly mentioned, the specifications strongly point to the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

According to the leak, the phone will feature a flat 6.9-inch display, giving Xiaomi more room for upgraded internal components and flagship-grade hardware.
The prototype is also said to include a symmetrical dual-speaker system and a large X-axis linear motor, aimed at delivering stronger and more refined haptic feedback. Early engineering units reportedly show improved vibration response, suggesting a more premium tactile experience.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is expected to continue using a rear display, similar to its predecessor. This time, the secondary screen is rumored to gain AI-powered functions and improved versatility.
Camera hardware could be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. Previous leaks suggest a 200MP 1/1.28-inch main sensor with improved thermal control and efficiency, plus support for LOFIC HDR 3.0 and enhanced low-light performance.
The periscope telephoto camera is also tipped to use a 200MP sensor, potentially making it one of the most advanced zoom systems in the segment. An additional 50MP ultra-wide camera is also expected.
Battery life may be another headline feature, with the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max rumored to carry a massive 8,500mAh battery paired with 100W wired charging. It may also support 50W wireless charging.
On the software side, the device is expected to launch with HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.
As for timing, the Xiaomi 18 series, which is expected to include the Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max, could officially launch in September this year.
If these leaks prove accurate, Xiaomi’s next Pro Max model could be one of the most loaded Android flagships of 2026.
