Xiaomi Civi 3 official launched in China: All you need to know!

The magnificent Xiaomi Civi 3 has just been unveiled in China, and boy, does it pack a punch. With its stunning design, top-of-the-line processor, and an array of impressive features, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is sure to leave you in awe.

Design

Let’s be honest, the design is absolutely drool-worthy. This device showcases a mesmerizing dual-tone aesthetic on its rear, offering you the choice of four captivating color variations: Rose Purple, Mint Green, Adventure Gold, and Coconut Ash. The camera module, nestled gracefully in the top left corner, houses not one, not two, but three lenses.

To add a touch of elegance, the camera island is encircled by a metal ring that perfectly matches the color of the rear panel, exuding a sleek and polished appearance. Don’t forget the flash module, sitting just below the camera ring.

Display

The Xiaomi Civi 3 features a 6.55-inch OLED curved display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Not only does it offer a mind-blowing display frame rate of up to 120Hz, but it also boasts a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz, ensuring smooth and ultra-responsive interactions.

The DCI-P3 Color Gamut Peak ensures rich and accurate colors, while the peak brightness of 1500nit guarantees excellent visibility, even under bright lighting conditions. With features like 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming, a Primary Color Screen for precise color representation, and 12-bit panel support for smooth color gradients, this display is a visual treat. This time it also adopted the pill-shaped cutout on the front for the dual front cameras.

Performance

This features the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset. It’s an improved version of the already impressive Dimensity 8200 SoC, featuring faster CPU and GPU clock speeds, as well as support for both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands.

It also offers you a choice between two RAM options. The 12GB RAM configuration provides you with LPDDR5 memory, while the 16GB RAM variant takes it up a notch with LPDDR5X memory. As for storage, you have three options to choose from, ranging from 256GB to a whopping 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity. With the Android 13-based MIUI 14 operating system, you’ll experience a smooth and fluid user interface that’s a joy to navigate.

Battery and Connectivity

The Xiaomi Civi 3 has a 4500mAh battery that promises to last you more than a day on a single charge. And when it’s time to recharge, the device supports 67W fast-second charging, allowing you to reach a full 100% charge in just 38 minutes. In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi Civi 3 has 5G, WIFI 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 support, you can stay connected at lightning speed.

Camera

The Xiaomi Civi 3 takes it to the next level with its impressive camera setup. On the rear, you’ll find a triple-camera setup that’s sure to make any photography enthusiast swoon. It features a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support for incredibly sharp and stable captures.

Alongside the 50MP lens, there’s an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, allowing you to capture breathtaking wide-angle shots. And to top it off, it also has a 2MP macro lens for those up-close and personal shots. With the primary camera can record videos in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30fps/60fps, and 720p at 30fps, your moments will be immortalized in stunning detail.

With its pill-shaped cutout housing a dual selfie camera setup with a 32MP shooter. The secondary lens on the front is a 32MP, serving as an ultra-wide-angle lens with electronic image stabilization. The front camera is also capable of recording videos in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30fps/60fps, and 720p at 30fps.

Pricing & Availability

The Xiaomi Civi 3 offers different models with varying RAM and internal storage configurations to suit your needs. The base model, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, starts at a price of $353 which is about Php 19,701. If you’re craving even more storage, you can opt for the 12GB RAM variant with 512GB of internal storage, available for $382 , approximately Php 21,319.

And for those who want the absolute maximum storage capacity, the top-end model offers a whopping 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, priced at $424, that’s around Php 23,662. Pre-orders for the Xiaomi Civi 3 have already begun in China, so be sure to grab yours while stocks last!
