Xiaomi is making a car similar to a popular Tesla Model!

According to recent reports, Xiaomi is working on their own a car which is being similar to a specific Tesla model. A firm executive claims that things are not as they seem, though.

The rendering in question suggests a similar shape to the Tesla Model 3, especially around the headlights. With the rest of the vehicle expected to be in sedan form, it might appear that Xiaomi is trying to emulate a more established brand to boost sales.

This potential hint of a lack of confidence on Xiaomi’s part was interrupted by Wang Hua, the OEM’s general manager of PR. BAIC Molds & Plastics.

As such, Xiaomi’s 1st generation physical vehicles may look very different at launch. Hua’s description may or may not refer to images showing the OEM’s purported current prototype ‘Modena’ being tested in cold weather in Inner Mongolia. .
