Xiaomi Pad 8 to launch with 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 10,000mAh battery

Xiaomi is set to launch its next-generation tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 8, in late September 2025. Teasers and recent leaks confirm that the new series will focus on high-performance hardware and a refined software experience, positioning it as a direct competitor to top-tier tablets.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a major performance leap over previous models. The standard Pad 8 may feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Both tablets are rumored to have a 144Hz refresh rate, promising a fluid visual experience on their 11.2-inch displays.

Battery and Charging

Both the standard and Pro models are set to feature a large 10,000mAh battery. This massive capacity will be complemented by fast charging: 67W for the Pro model and 45W for the standard version.
