The time has finally come. Xiaomi has started the global rollout of HyperOS 3, its next big update based on Android 16.
This version brings major visual upgrades, improved performance, and smarter AI tools. It also connects better with other Xiaomi devices like tablets, smartwatches, and even laptops.
What’s New in HyperOS 3
One of the biggest highlights is HyperIsland, a floating notification hub inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. It sits at the top of the screen and lets you interact with live updates in real time without opening apps.

You will also notice smoother animations and cleaner visuals throughout the interface. Xiaomi says performance is now up to 30 percent better than before, which should make multitasking and gaming feel much faster.

The overall design looks fresher, with simpler icons, better spacing, and support for high refresh rate displays. Everything feels more fluid and natural compared to the previous version.
For power users, HyperOS 3 adds better cross-device connectivity. You can mirror your screen to a Windows PC or tablet, share files instantly, and continue tasks between different Xiaomi devices without interruption.

When can I get it?
The update will arrive in stages across different countries. In China, Xiaomi began releasing the stable version in October 2025. The rollout is expected to reach more devices through March 2026.
For global users, the first batch will begin receiving HyperOS 3 starting in October 2025. More devices will follow in the coming months, depending on region and hardware.
Here is a quick look at the schedule:

Phase 1 (October to November 2025): Xiaomi 15 series and REDMI K80 Pro.
Phase 2 (November to December 2025): Xiaomi 14 Ultra, POCO F6 Pro, tablets, and select mid-range phones.
Phase 3 (December 2025 to March 2026): Older models like Xiaomi 13 Ultra, REDMI Note 14, and POCO Pad.
If you own a supported device, upgrading to HyperOS 3 is a smart move. The new interface feels faster, looks cleaner, and offers better integration across devices.
Make sure you back up your data, have enough battery life, and check for available storage. Depending on your region or carrier, the update might take a little longer to arrive.
If you are part of the Xiaomi, REDMI, or POCO ecosystem, this update will make your experience smoother and more unified. Keep checking your settings because you might be next in line for the upgrade.
