This October, YouTube raised the prices for both the Individual Plan and Family Plan.
YouTuber subscribers must brace themselves for the latest price hike this month. Prices of YouTube Premium Individual and Family plans just got raised.
If you visit YouTube’s dedicated premium page, you’ll see that the Individual Plan now costs PHP 189 per month, which was only PHP 159 last month. While that’s only a PHP 30 increase, the Family Plan gets the new staggering PHP 379 monthly charge, up from PHP 239.
Although some are shocked, YouTube has been notifying users across the globe of the price hike. The price increase is about improving the platform and helping content creators.
Unlike those plans, the Student Plan seems untouched and still at PHP 115 monthly. No surprise since it’s part of the plan’s entire design.
With YouTube Premium, you can enjoy YouTube, YouTube Kids, and YouTube Music without ads and experience extras, including the 1080p premium bitrate on video streaming and background playback.
