ZTE continues its pursuit to create the best under-display camera powered by Snapdragon 870 processor on its Axon 30s
The ZTE Axon 30s has one of the largest screens ever on a regular smartphone model, now at 6.92 inch that’s also OLED and in 1080p with 120Hz refresh rate. (But they can’t beat the humongous 7″ screen of the Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Max, lmao)
What the highlight here is the 16MP selfie cam that’s under the display, so goodbye to notches and thick bezels since the ZTE Axon 30s also has very slim corners.
Performance-wise, a beefy Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB is waiting for anyone who will purchase one. Take note, it still retains the memory card slot for expandability, so that’s a plus for the ZTE Axon 30s.
When it comes to the battery, a somewhat below standard 4,200mAh capacity with 55W Fast Charging might be lacking if you’re expecting to have a 5,000mAh or more—as with most flagship phones. The more expensive you get, the lesser the battery to make way for the better specs.
The quad cam setup of the ZTE Axon 30s has a 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP for depth with LED flash for better lighting assistance in dark environments.
ZTE’s own MyOS12 on top of Android 12 runs the show with Wi-Fi 6, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and it has both an under display fingerprint scanner and Type-C charging port.
The ZTE Axon 30s will be available in Black and Blue and costs around PHP 14,000 for the 128GB model, and around PHP 18,000 for the 256GB one. It’s currently available only in China, but who knows, maybe ZTE will make it available here in the Philippines.
How about you? What are your thoughts about the uniquely charming ZTE Axon 30s?
