Redmi 12C seen on IMEI database, signaling its upcoming launch

Entry-level Redmi 12C was seen on numerous certification websites, and this could be another launch before or the start of another year

The Federal Communications Commission has certified a new Redmi phone with model number 2212ARNC4L (FCC). Additionally, the name Redmi 12C for the device has been discovered in the IMEI database (via. Xiaomiui).

Therefore, it indicates that the product will soon be released on the international market. Redmi introduced the Redmi 10C with the Snapdragon 680 in many markets earlier this year.

It appears that the business may forego the Redmi 11C device now that the Redmi 12C moniker has surfaced in the IMEI database.

The Redmi 12C will apparently offer dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, while there isn’t any information yet on the Redmi 12C’s primary specs.

The MIUI 13 operating system will come preinstalled. As with the Redmi 10C and Redmi 9C, it appears that the Redmi 12C will be an entry-level phone, and its model number does indicate that it will be released in December of this year.

The business is also rumored to be working on the Redmi 11A in addition to the Redmi 12C, as a Redmi phone with the model number 22120RNC86C was spotted at TENAA in November.

This item is thought to be a Redmi 11A smartphone. While its global edition has lately been in the IMDA database, its Indian variant has been certified by the BIS authorities.

According to the TENAA listing for the purported Redmi 11A, it sports a 50-megapixel dual-camera system, a 50-megapixel IPS LCD HD+ display, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is powered by an unidentified 2.0GHz octa-core processor.

The phone is anticipated to include up to 256 GB of internal storage and up to 8 GB of RAM. It will have a 5,000mAh battery and probably run an Android 12 OS based on MIUI 13. LTE connectivity, an IR blaster, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner are a few of its additional features.
