Microsoft announces enhanced Bing and Edge powered by OpenAI

Microsoft is now updating its Edge browser and Bing search engine with OpenAI’s infrastructure to provide you with condensed responses to your precise search questions

Even though Bing now provides more accurate results for straightforward queries, the traditional search results page will still be available. Users can even ask Bing to rewrite code in another programming language, make poems, and more.

Integrating OpenAI to Microsoft Edge will allow users to access contextual data for the website they are viewing. Edge contains tabs for chat, compose, overview, and site information. Users can format their queries into a number of specifics such as length.

Microsoft is still testing the new AI-powered Bing and Edge and plans to deploy both a desktop and mobile version in the coming weeks.

Some of the new AI features are already available for testing through here.
