Elon Musk to step down from Twitter CEO role by the end of the year

Elon Musk bought Twitter and is currently the CEO of the company, but he’s already preparing to vacate the position.

Despite having purchased Twitter and serving as its CEO, Elon Musk is getting set to step down from his role. He delivered a speech via video link at the World Government Summit in Dubai, stating that he must “stabilize the organization” and “make sure it’s in a financially sound place.” After that, he will likely find someone else to head the company, Musk continued.

During the video talk with the minister of cabinet affairs of the UAE, Elon Musk referred to Twitter as “a startup in reverse.” To be “in a stable position,” the social network still requires a lot of work. He presently sleeps six hours a night while working seven days a week and hopes to work “a measly 80 hours per week.”
