Google is redesigning Gboard

The revamp of the app was made known to Android Police, and beta testers have already seen the changes

The major improvement visually is a revamped toolbar, allowing you to finally customize it with more than four options, and the voice search button can finally be removed.

Four adjustable features are simply hidden or shown by the circle with an arrow in it. The three-dot menu will no longer be present, and the button will alter to include four squares, making place for an additional shortcut. Additionally, the micro-menu of features has been rebuilt to make way for future additions of modifications. We’ll have rectangles instead of six circles taking up the entire space.

Additionally, Google is developing a new Privacy menu for Gboard’s settings. The Advanced menu’s majority of features are now located under a new tab, which makes it simpler to access and manage the keyboard app’s privacy features. Everyone can participate in the beta program through Google Play, and the most recent version is 12.6.06.491625702.
