Netflix reduces the cost of its subscriptions in PH

Netflix has announced that it will reduce the monthly rates for Filipino customers who have Basic and Standard tier subscriptions to its streaming service

Sexbomb Girls, a Filipino dance group, were chosen by the streaming behemoth to perform in the promotional video announcing the reduced subscription prices.

The new monthly price for the Netflix Basic plan is P249, saving P120 compared to the previous price of P369 a month. On the other side, the Standard plan’s monthly cost has decreased from Php459 to Php399 as of late.

Subscribers to Premium and Mobile will still pay the same rates of Php549 and Php149, respectively.

The revised pricing structure will be applied to new signups made as of today. Current subscribers won’t get the revised fees until their subsequent billing cycle.
