Honor Pad V8 launched as the first Dimensity 8020 chipset-powered tablet

Honor has now unveiled the Honor Pad V8! Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the new Honor tablet

Honor Pad V8 specifications and features

The Honor Pad V8 features an 11-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 8020 processor, which is merely a renamed version of the existing Dimensity 1100, powers the tablet. The Pad V8 is the first tablet to feature the D8020 chip.

The Honor Pad V8 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera module on its back is fitted with a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The tablet also features quad speakers.

The Honor Pad V8 is packed with a massive 7,250mAh battery that offers 22.5W charging support which is pretty fast. The tablet does not support cellular connection though, it only supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Lastly, the Pad V8 offers a slim and lightweight design, with a thickness of 7.35mm and a weight of 485 gram which makes it on the lighter side.

While the device carries a new name and a new chip, it offers the same specifications as the Honor Tab V7 Pro, which was unveiled back in August 2021.
