Honor 90 series officially launched in China: All you need to know!

The Honor 90 Series has officially arrived with some serious firepower! These new iterations from Honor have stepped up their game with upgrades that are truly impressive.

Honor 90

The Honor 90 boasts a stupendous 200MP main camera, with the cutting-edge ISOCELL HP3 sensor. These phones are not only photography powerhouses, they’re also 5G-capable, ensuring you stay connected at lightning-fast speeds. And the best part? Honor has confirmed that these devices will be available globally, with all your favorite Google apps and services pre-installed.

It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (4 nm) which is exceptionally powerful with power management. The battery is a 5000mAh Li-Po with 66W charging speed and 5W wireless charging.

Honor 90 Pro

The Honor 90 Pro has a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED display, showcasing vibrant 10-bit colors. It has a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and over 1,000 nit brightness. To top it off, it features 3840Hz UHF PWM dimming, reducing eye strain for those long hours of smartphone bliss. Powering this beast is the mighty Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, delivering blazing-fast performance for all your multitasking needs.

Camera

The Honor 90 Pro’s rear camera setup is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. It has a 200MP main camera leading the charge, accompanied by a 12MP ultra wide lens. It also has a 32MP portrait shooter with 2.5x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). The front-facing cameras are a dual combo of a powerful 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Both are capable of recording stunning 4K videos.

Battery life won’t be an issue with the Honor 90 Pro. Its 5,000mAh battery supports lightning-fast 90W charging, giving you a 56% charge in just 15 minutes. It also has dual stereo speakers, GPU Turbo X, MagicUI 7.1 on top of Android 13, and NFC capabilities.

The vanilla model might seem like the little sibling, but it’s certainly not lacking in power. Sporting a slightly smaller 6.7-inch OLED screen with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, this display is a visual treat. It also has the 120Hz refresh rate which ensures buttery-smooth scrolling and responsiveness. Under the hood, it houses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which has received a boost in its max clock speed from 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz. That means snappy performance when you need it most.

The selfie camera on the Honor 90 is on par with its Pro counterpart—a stellar 50MP resolution for capturing stunning self-portraits. On the back, it packs the same impressive 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens, but replaces the third camera with a 2MP depth sensor. While it may not have OIS, it does feature electronic image stabilization (EIS) to keep your shots steady. The 5,000mAh battery ensures you won’t run out of juice, and with 66W charging, you’ll be up and running in no time.
