OPPO A2 Pro 5G is coming very soon and the company offers a free battery replacement service for this phone at launch.
Product warranty often lasts for a year on most items. But some offer five to 10 years depending on the product and part. OPPO wants to give a semblance of that on its upcoming OPPO A2 Pro 5G, which has a four-year warranty on the battery.
Before we go into battery warranty, let’s start with the specs overview. OPPO A2 Pro 5G features a circular rear camera setup, rumored with triple sensors led by a 64-MP lens. A single camera of 8MP is placed at the front. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 and 8GB of RAM, and is speculated to get a 5000mAh battery unit.
Although it looks small, OPPO A2 Pro 5G is quite big with 6.7 inches of OLED full HD+ curved display. It also runs the latest Android 13 + ColorOS 13.1 with a chance to get Android 14, launching later this year. You can choose from three colorful designs in Dusk Cloud Purple, Vast Black, and Desert Brown.
Besides having three color options, you can choose the variant as well. The lowest is the 8GB + 128GB variant, followed by the 12GB + 256GB model, and the 12GB + 512GB version. The rumored prices of these models are noted below.

The highlighted specials about OPPO A2 Pro 5G are the 12GB virtual RAM to double the capacity of the physical memory and the 67w Super Flash charging. Users who go for the pre-sale and initial sales phase will get a four-year battery warranty.
This means that OPPO authorized service centers will look into the battery’s full capacity within four years when the service is activated. When the battery capacity drops below 80% during the four-year warranty window, the user will get one free battery replacement.
OPPO A2 Pro 5G official details and sale dates will be unveiled on September 15 in China.
