itel P55 5G India launch: D6080, 90Hz LCD screen, and 5,000mAh battery!

Itel has recently introduced an entry-level 5G smartphone known as the P55 5G.

To begin with, it boasts a sleek and refreshing design, available in Green or Blue color options. On the front, the phone sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 700 pixels and a fast 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek 6080 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of battery, the phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh capacity and supports charging through a USB-C port with an 18W power brick.

In the camera department, the phone features a 50MP primary camera sensor along with an AI sensor and LED flash for capturing photos. For selfies, it is equipped with an 8MP front camera.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Connectivity options comprise 5G, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

As for the operating system, the phone runs on Android 13 with the itel OS skin overlay.

In India, the price for the itel P55 5G with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is set at INR 9,999 (approximately PHP 6.8K when directly converted to Philippine Peso).

Currently, the device is available in India through the Amazon India store, but there is no information yet about its availability in the Philippines.
