Quick Unboxing

The box of Infinix ZERO 30 radiates a premium vibe with its illuminating cover. Upon opening, the handset greets you while it’s still covered by a gold-tinted packaging, which illuminates too. But unlike other brands, Infinix packaged ZERO 30 with a fast-charging adapter, a USB cable, earphones, and a jelly case. Now, that’s how a premium smartphone should be presented!

Design

The above image is the majestic beauty of the Infinix ZERO 30 “Sunset Gold” variant. It looks wonderful and it really feels like a premium phone.

We are in awe with the regal backside of the Sunset – “as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow across the tranquil waters”. Like a moment of pure magic, a symphony of light and color that will leave its user, breathless.

The Infinix ZERO 30’s buttons and ports are conveniently arranged for effortless accessibility. The power button and volume rocker reside on the right side, while the dual speaker grills and microphone are neatly positioned at the top and bottom of the device. Additionally, the SIM card slot and USB Type-C port are easily reachable at the bottom edge.

Enhancing its durability, the Infinix Zero 30 boasts an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes. This additional layer of protection ensures the device remains in pristine condition even when faced with everyday challenges, such as accidental spills or dusty environments. Additionally, its ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip, particularly when capturing photos or videos. This enhances the overall user experience and ensures a hassle-free interaction with the device.

Display

The Infinix ZERP 30 boasts a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1 billion colors, providing a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and transitions, making it perfect for gaming and watching videos. With a peak brightness of 950 nits, the display remains visible even in bright outdoor conditions. The device also features a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio, delivering crisp and clear visuals. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection ensures durability and protects the display from scratches and accidental drops.

Camera

The Infinix ZERO 30 packs a versatile triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 108MP main lens for exceptional clarity, a 2MP macro lens for capturing intricate details, and a 2MP depth sensor for creating professional-looking portraits.

For stunning selfies and vlogs, the device boasts a 50MP front-facing camera with a wide lens and dual-LED flash for well-lit photos and videos in low-light conditions.

The 108MP main lens can record videos in up to 2K resolution at 30fps, while the front-facing camera can record videos in 1080p resolution at 30fps.

The Infinix ZERO 30’s rear camera also features a number of other video recording features, including:

  • EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization): This helps to reduce camera shake and create smoother videos.
  • HDR (High Dynamic Range): This helps to capture more detail in both bright and dark areas of the scene.
  • Night Mode: This helps to improve image quality in low-light conditions.
  • Bokeh Effect: This creates a blurred background effect, which can help to make your subject stand out.

Despite its 4G processor, the Infinix ZERO 30 stands as an impressive video recording smartphone within its price range. It delivers a commendable range of features and consistently captures high-quality videos. While one might not expect exceptional results from a 4G device, the Infinix ZERO 30 excels thanks to its enhanced camera hardware and software optimizations.

Performance

The Infinix ZERO 30 delivers a seamless user experience powered by its reliable Helio G99 chipset. While its 45W charging speed falls short of the ZERO 30 5G’s impressive 68W capability, it still provides ample power for everyday tasks.

Equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, this device offers ample space for storing apps, games, and media. It runs on XOS 13, based on Android 13, ensuring a modern and efficient user interface.

While not marketed specifically for gaming, the Infinix ZERO 30 delivers satisfactory performance during our in-house game tests. The results are as follows:
