Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ now in India, global launch January 15

Users worldwide will have their chance to experience the 200-MP shooter of the new Redmi Note.

We aren’t even a week into 2024 and schedules of various smartphones are set for this month. One of the launching series in January is the Redmi Note 13 5G, accompanied by three models.

The Redmi Note 13 5G series initially rolled out in China in September last year and just reached India yesterday. Now, it’s set for a global launch.

The series is spearheaded by the alpha: the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, powered by Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Ultra and has three cameras at the back. The main camera is the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200-MP sensor supported by 8-MP ultrawide and 2-MP macro sensors, while the selfie camera is 16 MP. This handset has a 5000-mAh battery and up to 120-watt fast charging.

The next model is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It has the same camera setting as the Pro Plus, however, it relies on a different processor for imaging. This handset has a slightly bigger battery of 5100 mAh in exchange for a slower 67-watt fast charging.

The base model, Redmi Note 13 5G, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 but doesn’t have the same rear cameras as the other two. This phone comes with a 108-MP main camera, 8-MP ultrawide sensor and 2-MP macro sensor at the back and a 16-MP selfie shooter. Its battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and can support up to 33-watt fast charging.

All three phones have the same 6.67-inch display panel. The Redmi Note 13 5G is stuck at 1080p resolution though. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G have 1220p or 1.5K display resolution.

The global launch date for the Redmi Note 13 5G series is on January 15.
