Samsung Galaxy A35 leaks: Exynos 1380, 50MP main cam, 6GB RAM, Android 14

Samsung Galaxy A35 appeared in renders two months ago, and today, the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench, revealing key specifications such as an Exynos 1380 chipset and an available 6 GB RAM option.

However, the benchmark scores, with 697 for single core and 2,332 for multiple cores, appear underwhelming compared to a similar Galaxy A device sporting the same chipset. This disparity is likely attributed to the early prototype nature of the device, and improvements in raw performance can be expected by the time of the phone’s official launch.

While Geekbench seldom explicitly mentions the chipset, GSMArena identifies it as the Exynos 1380 based on the s5e8835 model number of the motherboard and processor. The Galaxy A35 is anticipated to feature a CPU with 4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55, shared with the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy M54/F54.

Despite initial concerns about the chipset’s speed for a device of the A5x series, it is speculated to seamlessly suit the more budget-friendly Galaxy A35. The Samsung-built SoC is expected to bring a substantial upgrade from previous A3x devices, notably enhancing performance with its 4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 configuration.
