Moto G24, Moto G04 launched: Helio G85 & Unisoc, 4+64GB storage, IP52 rating

Motorola has recently introduced two new additions to its G series smartphone lineup in the European market – the Moto G04 and Moto G24. These models, previously teased through leaks and certifications, now come with detailed specifications, official pricing, and more.

Moto G24 Specs

The Moto G24 stands out as the more premium choice among the two budget-friendly phones. Boasting a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and 537 nits of brightness, this device offers a visually impressive experience.

Powering it is the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB) and virtual RAM expansion (up to 8GB). With a slim profile measuring 7.99mm and a weight of 180 grams, the G24 strikes a balance between aesthetics and portability.

The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, an 8-megapixel front camera is housed in the display notch. A robust 5,000mAh battery supports 15W fast charging. Noteworthy features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 OS with My UX, IP52 water and dust resistance, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

Moto G04 Specs

Despite being positioned as a budget-grade model, the Moto G04 doesn’t compromise on display quality, featuring a 6.6-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The design closely resembles the G24, with slight downgrades to achieve a more affordable price point.

It is powered by the UNISOC T606 processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Additionally, users can benefit from 4GB or 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. With a weight of 180 grams and a thickness of 7.99mm, the Moto G04 maintains a sleek and lightweight profile.

The rear camera setup of the Moto G04 comprises a single 16-megapixel camera with an LED flash, while the front features a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. A 5,000mAh battery supports standard 10W charging. Key features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP52 dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 OS with My UX, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

Pricing and Availability

Both smartphones are available in various color options. The Moto G04 comes in Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue, and Sunrise Orange, priced at 119 Euros (~₱7,268.72). The Moto G24 is offered in Ice Green, Pink Lavender, Blueberry, and Matte Charcoal, with a price tag of 129 Euros (~₱7,879.54). Currently available in Europe, these models are expected to hit Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific markets in the coming weeks.
