Infinix Note 12i Key Specs Reveal And Pricing

The newest ultra-lite gaming phone from Infinix is the company’s latest release. The Infinix Note 12i comes with several features that will attract customers and long-time fans of the brand, as well as users of the recently released and popular Infinix Zero 5G Now.

DESIGN

The Infinix Note 12i is expected to be a budget, entry-level phone, but the company didn’t cut corners in terms of the design. Hindi sya cheap tignan, and the colour styles picked are apt for the premium “feels” the manufacturers were going for. The phone is available in Force Black, Jewel Blue, and Sunset Golden.

The rear panel is what gives the impression this is a stylish phone, but up front, it features the same style as the Infinix Note 12. Not saying that’s bad, but it’s good the company is consistent with the design aspect.

DISPLAY

The Infinix Note 12i uses an IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution, which isn’t bad, but what makes it a cut above the rest is the refresh rate.

Infinix phones have always focused on balancing features and the pricing, but for a phone that’s priced approximately PHP9,000, a 90Hz refresh rate is a big bonus. Magandang phone ang Infinix Note 12i for general media consumption, all thanks to the big 6.82” display.

CHIPSET, PERFORMANCE and OTHER KEY SPECS

Powering the Infinix Note 12i is a Mediatek Helio G85 gaming chipset. Although it’s not the latest Helio processor, the Helio G85 is a staple choice for manufacturers that focus on providing budget-friendly phones. It actually comes close to some of the most popular Snapdragon chipsets from the Qualcomm SD 600 series, and outperforms the Snapdragon 666.

This phone runs on a 5000mAh battery that will take a while to charge: there’s no 33W fast charging or anything like that, however, the 18W fast charging should prolong battery life. This is why the unit will be a good phone in the long run.

Camera-wise, the phone is equipped with a 50MP sensor, which is becoming more and more common among entry-level budget phones. There’s no 4K video recording here, but the cameras are able to capture in 30fps quality.

The phone will be sold first in Kenya and its estimated price point will be close to 175 euros, which roughly converts to PHP9100 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
