Axie Classic has returned with a flurry of changes, including the AXS reward pool and overhaul of Bloodmoon Rising, now Cursed Coliseum with new rules.
Heads up Axie players! The beloved Axie Classic is back with fresh changes to welcome back everyone.
One of the changes is the overhaul of Bloodmoon Rising, now called Cursed Coliseum. It’s a game mode that includes curses that will rattle players. Here are the rules:
- Every match, a random Axie on each team will be cursed.
- Player must replace two random parts from that cursed Axie.
- Players cannot change Axies after the session starts.
The Axie Experience Points or AXP is now integrated with Axie Classic. Players can earn AXP per victory, so the more you win, the more AXP you get. However, the developer placed a cap of 3,600 AXP per day.
To get AXP in Axie Classic:
- Get one non-stacking free ticket per day after clearing PvE Map 10. A ticket allows a player to join one session.
- A session ends when a player wins 12 times or loses 3 times, whichever happens first.
- Earn AXP by winning during a session.
- 1 win = 50 AXP per Axie.
- Max AXP per Axie = 2,400 AXP per day.
- Max AXP per player = 3,600 AXP per session.
- The first two players to get 12 wins will get a part of the 1,875 AXS prize pool as well.
For seasoned warriors, they can participate in the Grand Tournament game mode. It has three phases and the winner will get a Mystic Axie. Interested players have a week to register for the tournament and all players can register.
In the next phase, registered players will be divided into several groups and each group has up to 5,000 players. This phase will run for two weeks and only 10 among them will proceed to the final phase.
The third phase is the main tournament and only one will stand above the rest. The winner will get the Mystic Axie #1978 as a reward.
