Beat eye strain with TCL NXTPaper phones when reading

TCL wants you to experience the NXTPaper phone series’ unique eye protection and paper-like reading.

The recent keynote event hosted by TCL featured the company’s newest display tech for avid readers. So, expect the latest QD-Mini LED TVs and TCL NXTPaper phones. The main idea is TCL’s concern about your eyes – not wanting you to suffer from eye fatigue and whatnot.

To beat that, TCL equipped its NXTPaper with eye protection tech, which includes low blue light emissions without unwanted yellowing, anti-glare for reflection-free experience, and display presets, such as optimized color temps and soft light.

Both 40 NXTPaper and 40 NXTPaper 5G feature a paper-like display, letting you read content on-screen as if real paper. Thanks to the anti-fingermark matte finish, you can be immersed into the experience without the undesirable display smudges. TCL equipped both devices with 90Hz refresh rate for silky smooth visuals.

The 40 NXTPaper sports 6.78 inches FHD+ display, MediaTek Helio G88 CPU, Mali-G52 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and 5010mAh battery. Meanwhile, 40 NXTPaper 5G has 6.6 inches of HD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 6020 CPU, Mali-G57 GPU, 6GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and 5000mAh battery.

The 40 NXTPaper will arrive in Europe in September, having a price tag of €199 (₱12,275.36). The 5G model is expected to get a starting price of €249 (₱15,359.62) but is set to arrive in October. No release dates yet for other countries have been announced by TCL.
