Experience fast-paced action and battle royale gaming of Call of Duty: Warzone on your smartphone, launched with cross-progression feature.
Activision has officially made Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
We downloaded and tested Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on an old flagship, LG V50 ThinQ, which has an AnTuTu score of around 590K. That score indicates that the device performs like a midrange smartphone.
Despite downloading the massive game file, HD assets aren’t loaded locally and require online connection to do so. At medium graphics (defaulted) and 60FPS, the game ran smoothly for most cases.
Lags and stutters occurred when venturing to a new part of the map as assets were loaded. For temperature, we started at 31°C and peaked at 40°C until the match ended.
Your first match is the tutorial where you’ll discover that the game supports auto-fire. This is good for newbies. If you’ve got experience, you can disable this manually.
According to Activision, the minimum system requirements for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is at least 4GB of RAM and Adreno 618 for Android, which means Snapdragon 730 or higher. Meanwhile, 3GB of RAM and iOS 16 for Apple devices, excluding iPhone 8.
The initial download size of the game is around 2GB, with the patch varying from time to time. As of writing, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile features game modes like Battle Royale, Rebirth Resurgence, Mobile Royale, and Mosh Pit.
